Armadale Hospital has become an epicentre for births, with a record 262 babies delivered in August – a figure significantly higher than the rest of the state.

After 6PR Breakfast first heard the rumour via the Rumour File, Armadale Hospital senior executive Alicia Thompson confirmed to hosts Millsy and Karl that the hospital not only broke a record in August but is also expecting a 65 per cent increase in September – historically their busiest month – which will set yet another new record.

“Armadale baby boom is at a rate much higher than the rest of the state at the moment. We’re getting all of the babies”, Thompson said.
