Priscilla Presley was ‘visibly moved’ by the debut of Priscilla, the new film detailing her life with Elvis, at the Venice Film Festival.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast the film has received rave reviews, but the six-minute standing ovation may have been a bit over-the-top.

“At those film festivals they do tend to overreact a bit,” Mr Ford said.

“Everything is either the best thing since sliced bread, or the worst thing that’s ever been made.”
