A teacher says children feeling alone at school is an issue that extends internationally and she kept seeing throughout her 27-year-career.

“Whilst education is moving forward we’ve still got children saying they’ve got no one to sit with, no one to play with and feeling sometimes quite lost or isolated in the playground,” Sophie Whitehouse, an educational consultant at “You can sit with me”told Steve and Baz on 6PR Breakfast.

Ms Whitehouse gave some handy tips to help kids, and sometimes adults in workplaces, share the friendship and make sure everyone is welcomed no matter where they are.
