The George Pell case now turns to the question of a possible High Court appeal, after the Victorian Court of Appeal yesterday rejected his bid to appeal his child sex conviction – in a 2-1 ruling.

Gareth Parker spoke with with Melbourne Law School’s Professor Jeremy Gans about the challenges Pell may face in getting the High Court to hear any appeal.

Gareth also called for the Archbishop of Western Australia to show leadership on the issue and speak publicly about the case.
