The AFL won’t punish Sydney forward Sam Wicks after finding his football boots were not compliant with AFL regulations.

The boots, which contain a mix of metal and plastic studs, left Collingwood’s Isaac Quaynor with a deep cut to his shin after a tackle in yesterday’s match.
