Former Aussie batsmen has thrown his support behind the Australian team ahead of the upcoming test series against India.

Mr. Cricket believes the worst of Cricket Australia’s issues are behind them and that the Aussies will have a successful test campaign against India this summer.

“It’s obviously been a tumultuous time… We’re missing a couple of quality players. I think it’s going to be a fantastic series against India.. and I’m actually confident the guys (Australia) will win the series.”

Speaking with Andrew Williams on The Sunday Session, Hussey says it might be controversial, but he can not wait to watch one Indian batsmen get to work this summer.

“If Virat Kohli gets going… he is just a joy to watch. He’s a freak of a player.”

The first test gets underway on December 6th in Adelaide before the teams head to Optus Stadium for the 2nd from December 14.
