“We want to see positive change in Cottesloe”

Cottesloe is known for it’s beautiful beach…. and its NIMBYs. In light of Minderoo Group’s development concepts for the Indiana Tea House, the general consensus seems to be that no one wants anything to change.

But Future Cottesloe is a local group that champions vibrancy and progression in WA’s favourite coastal suburb.

Chair of Future Cottesloe Julia Hayes joined Oliver Peterson to say locals needs to stop with the knee-jerk reaction to change and be open to a more dymanic future for Cottesloe.

“People that are making decisions now are making decisions that are going to be left on the shoulders of the kids of the future.

“We become emotionally attached to buildings and it’s not reasonable.”
