Today Oliver Peterson spoke to State Political Editor for The West Australian, Gary Adshead about his article on WA tourism.

In the face of appalling figures, Adshead says the WA government needs a big re-think on the tourism strategy.

“We have this tyranny of distances here in Perth and it makes things very difficult.

“No one can tell me that the Bell Tower is something that attracts people from around the world… we are lacking in those big, big iconic landmarks that other places have.”
