WA’s hard borders to get harder

WA’s border with the east will be hardened even further from midnight.

Anyone who has been in Melbourne in the past fortnight will now be banned from entering the state, unless given a special exemption.

Acting Premier Roger Cook says the list of exemptions has been tightened.

Returning WA residents will have to self quarantine for 14 days and will be tested for COVID-19 on Day 11.

WA has had three new cases of COVID-19 overnight, all overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.

Acting Premier Roger Cook spoke with Oliver Peterson.
