You’d think that an increase in fines for littering cigarette butts would be enough to stop some people doing it, but apparently not as WA smokers rack up hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. Keep Australia Beautiful chairman Michael Aspinall says while it’s disappointing people are still littering, it’s encouraging to see the rates declining.
