WA records no new COVID-19 cases

Almost 700 people remain in quarantine in WA hotels as the state continues to record encouraging coronavirus figures.

There’s been no new cases of the virus today, for the first time since March 12.

The State Government is not yet giving an indication on when restrictions might be eased saying only that we need to remain cautious.

Among the restrictions is a mandatory 14 day quarantine period for everyone arriving in WA.

Health Minister Roger Cook says more than 2400 people have been quarantined since the measure was introduced on March 26.
