WA Police have seized more than 400 firearms and 30,000 rounds of ammunition as part of Operation Bluesun over the past six weeks.

Checks at properties across Perth and regional WA saw firearms found under beds, in the back seats cars and stored in sheds, with 185 gun owners charged for failing to secure their weapons safely.
