USB found in seal poop

Millsy & Karl

Scientists in New Zealand are on the hunt for the owners of a USB filled with photos that was found in a frozen seal poop.

Steve and Baz had an iceburg load of questions about how it got there, why was the poop frozen, what was on the USB and why the scientist were looking into the poop.

Dr Krista Hupman is a marine mammal biologist at NIWA (National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research) answered all their questions.

“I hoped that maybe it was something really interesting like someone’s long lost wedding photographs or something and someone was really missing them but to our surprise it came back with seal photos,” Dr Hupman told 6PR Breakfast.
