Over the years there have been a number of researchers claiming they have found a cure for type 1 diabetes and nothing has stuck. But scientists from the University of Texas have cured type 1 diabetes in mice and are hopeful it can be used on diabetic humans. Dr Bruno Doiron is one of the professors who discovered the new technique, he had a chat to Chris about the breakthrough.
