The Government ‘couldn’t care less’ about Sterling First victims

Gareth Parker has hit out at the Federal Government’s failure to front up to answer questions about the collapse of Sterling First Group, which has left more than 100 pensioners and retirees facing the loss of their life savings.

Federal Assistant Treasurer and Housing minister Michael Sukkar, who has portfolio responsibility for ASIC, has repeatedly denied requests to speak on the issue because ‘it is a pretty busy week for the Minister’.

Gareth Parker has been covering the heartbreaking stories of Sterling First victims since the story broke more than a week ago. Listen to the coverage here.
