State Treasurer Ben Wyatt is defending his ‘boring’ budget, which offered few new spending or saving measures.

The budget shows debt sitting at 39 billion dollars in the coming financial year, and peaking at 40-point-eight billion before reducing.

The Treasurer told Mornings with Gareth Parker, they had to knuckle down to deal with existing budget pressures.
