“That’s absolute skuttlebutt”: Julie Bishop won’t be joining WA State Liberals says Liza Harvey

Jamie Burnett

WA Opposition Leader Liza Harvey has refuted claims that former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Julie Bishop, will be joining the WA Liberal Party as a candidate in the next state election.

She also dismissed rumours Zak Kirkup could be moved to the seat of Nedlands, saying it’s “complete nonsense” and “he’s an outstanding local member”.

The chat started as the WA Liberal Party announced they will commit $500 million to a dedicated maternity and gynaecological hospital at King Edward Memorial if they win the next election.
