The State Government is drafting legislation to ban the practice of wheel-clamping.

Transport Minister Rita Saffioti told Gareth Parker on Mornings they’ll also examine regulation around the ability of a company to tow a vehicle — capping the costs and fees associated, and making sure police are notified.

She says the practice is impeding people going about their lives.
