SSTU not confident in medical advice keeping schools open

The State School Teachers Union doesn’t believe medical advice around keeping schools open is consistent.

Students are now being allowed to stay at home but schools will remain open in WA until the end of Term.

President Pat Byrne says the Union is no longer confident in following advice and advising teachers who are vulnerable to COVID-19 to take the allocated public sector leave.
