Some casuals could be entitled to annual leave

There could be widespread implications for the casual workforce, after the Federal Court found casual employees who work regular hours are entitled to annual leave payments.

Mornings with Gareth Parker spoke with both the ACTU and the Australian Industry Group about what the ruling means.

ACTU President Michelle O’Neill told Mornings, the case showed there is often a “sham definition” of casual work.
