Dangerous sex offender DAL has been be released into the metropolitan area after safety concerns were raised about his release into Geraldton.

Gareth Parker today revealed on Mornings that DAL was no longer due to be released into Geraldton under an eight year supervision and today it was confirmed he would be released in the metro area.

Shadow police minister Peter Katsambanis says it’s a major concern.
