After nine people were hospitalised for a suspected drug overdose in Perth’s Victoria Park, the scary reality of drugs has come to the forefront of our minds.

A forensic toxicologist from Safe Way Laboratories spoke with 6PR Breakfast about some of the drugs on our streets and how easy it can be to overdose, especially around this time of year.

Andrew Leibie told the story of a group of people overdosing on a synthetic drug they thought was ecstacy but had other substance in it.
