The West Coast Eagles are keeping in contact with first-year player Liam Ryan after he was involved in an “incident” yesterday morning.

“His welfare and his health is the priority at the moment so the club has been in contact with him and a few players have as well. We just want to make sure that Liam is alright,” Kennedy told 6PR Breakfast.

Kennedy said he’s unsure if Ryan will train today or Thursday or if he will be up for selection when they play the Giants on Sunday.

“That’s up to the match committee and stuff to decide later in the week and probably a big decision for him as well,”  Kennedy said.
