The State Government is aiming to ‘cut red tape’ around WA’s planning system to provide economic relief post COVID-19.

The reforms which are to be introduced to Parliament today include having small builds such as backyard patios no longer requiring council approval.

While larger scale projects will be able to be fast tracked to create more jobs and boost the economy.
