Protesters vow to keep fighting Moora Residential College cuts

Hundreds of protesters marched the streets of Perth before ascending the steps of Parliament House on Tuesday in response to the State Governments decision to close Moora Residential College.

On Perth Tonight Chris Ilsley spoke to one of the rally’s organisers Central Midlands Senior High School Parents and Citizens President, Tracey Errington about Labors response to the rally.

“Their figure…is a complete upgrade…we don’t want a complete upgrade…we just want the college maintained,” Ms Errington said.

“He’s [Mr McGowan] not even listened to the arguments about why those kid’s parents choose Moora over Northam or Geraldton, which is where he’s trying to send them,” she said.
