Police investigating alleged assaults of Perth partygoers

Gary Adshead

WA Police say they don’t have any evidence to suggest incidents where partygoers were robbed and assaulted by gatecrashers in Mt Lawley and Dalkeith are linked.

Acting Inspector Stephen Crowley told Gareth Parker a group of up to six people assaulted a partygoer on Saturday night who had attended the party in Dalkeith. He apparently left the party to head home and was then assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone.

Meanwhile investigations are also continuing into a similar incident in Mt Lawley on October 18 where a party was gatecrashed by people who allegedly robbed partygoers after turning up uninvited.

Witnesses with information which may assist police in their investigations including CCTV or video footage are encouraged to contact police.
