Phantom health extends your life

Merely thinking that you’re fit and healthy could extend your life according to new research out of California.

The research concluded that people who consider themselves inactive die younger than those who exercised just as much, but considered themselves healthy.

Steve and Baz spoke to the chief happiness officer at the Happiness Institute in Sydney about the research and if there’s some truth to it.

“There’s no doubt that a certain type of positive thinking can be very beneficial. It’s also extremely important that positive thinking is realistic,” Dr Tim Sharp, aka Dr Happy told 6PR Breakfast.
