WA had an increase in interstate visitors for the first time in two years, but they’re not staying as long and not spending as much.

We’re “focusing on making us the western gateway for international visitors and selling ourselves on the East Coast as being affordable and quality so we’re turning around that reputation we got during the [mining] boom,” Tourism Minister Paul Papalia told 6PR Breakfast.
