One in five year storm headed our way

A rare combination of weather conditions is likely to bring strong winds and heavy rain to Perth on Sunday and Monday, and DFES is advising us to prepare now.

The remnants of a tropical low are expected to interact with a cold front, leading to lengthy periods of severe weather along the state’s west coast.

DFES Chief Superintendent Stuart Wade told Oliver Peterson on Sunday we could see a one in five year storm.
