Nurses union wants WA nurses who volunteered in Victoria brought home
The State Secretary for the Australian Nurses Federation wants COVID infected WA nurses airlifted out of Melbourne.
One nurse who went over with a team from WA has tested positive for the virus. The entire team now face two weeks quarantine in Victoria before another two weeks when they return to Perth.
However Mark Olsen told Gareth Parker on Mornings the nurses were told before leaving if they became infected they would be immediately airlifted back home by the Royal Flying Doctors Service.
