Australian’s wanting to adopt are getting their applications rejected because their Body Mass Index is too high or they don’t have enough experience with kids.

Adopt Change is a new organisation created to help families who have adopted or wanting to adopt and they say they’ve been contacted by plenty of people who’ve had their applications rejected for minor reasons.
There was “a whole range of reasons that seem more like excuses than actual criteria,” Renee Carter the CEO of Adopt Change told 6PR Breakfast.
