There are new scams targeting computer users by hacking into the cameras and recording people in their home.

Remote-access scammers trick their victims into handing over money — as well as control of their computers.

Trevor Long spoke to 6pr Breakfast about what you can do to avoid this happening to you.

“The elderly are the biggest risk because they are more willing to accept that someone is genuinely saying ‘I can help you'”  he told Steve and Baz.
