Fresh allegations of trouble at WA prisons have been aired on Mornings with Gareth Parker today, including the brutal assault of a prisoner at Hakea Prison.

Gareth Parker revealed details of several incidents, just a week after the escape of 10 prisoners from Greenough Regional Prison.

Corrective Services Commissioner Tony Hassall then called into the show to confirm details of the assault.
