Mornings with Gareth Parker recently brought listeners two local council stories, which got the phones ringing with similar local council gripes.

Western Suburbs Weekly reporter Jon Bassett told Gareth, a public laneway remains blocked in Cottesloe, despite a lengthy council meeting on the matter.

But it was better news for Kirkwood Deli co-owner Zac Phillips, who told Gareth the Nedlands Council had moved in their favour.
