Minister looking at getting manufacturing back in Australia

The Industry minister says coronavirus has highlighted the need to improve local manufacturing.

Lower wages offshore mean Australian manufacturers can’t compete on cost.

Karen Andrews told Oliver Peterson the pandemic has shown were very dependent on imports and some industry’s have shown we need to rebuild our manufacturing capacity.
