National Mental Health Commission chairman Allan Fels says society has to do more to address the increased physical health issues experienced by people who are battling mental illness.

Speaking before his address to the National Press Club today, Professor Fels told Mornings with Gareth Parker, we can’t simply accept that people with a mental illness will have a lower life expectancy than those who don’t.
