McGowan family trips on Government jet ‘don’t pass the pub test’
The State Opposition claims the Premier’s decision to allow his family to travel with him on a government jet “doesn’t pass the pub test”.
Mr McGowan has defended the trip saying his wife accompanied him in her role as a literacy and reading ambassador, and the children joined because they couldn’t find them a babysitter.
Deputy Opposition leader Liza Harvey told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the plane is for official business, not family trips.
Labor’s Alannah MacTiernan then joined Gareth to explain her use of the taxpayer-funded jet, after she used it to attend a concert at Leeuwin Estate.
