Fremantle’s Cam McCarthy has been diagnosed with epilepsy, a week after collapsing at training.

Dockers general manager of football Peter Bell says although McCarthy won’t play on Saturday and will have to undergo a period of treatment, the diagnosis shouldn’t affect his ability to play at the highest level.
