Losing Grand Final isn’t the end of the world: Kennedy

Millsy & Karl

The West Coast Eagles face up against the Collingwood Magpies in the AFL Grand Final at the MCG on Saturday and West Coast are hoping for a better result than their 2015 appearance when they lost to Hawthorn.

Eagles forward Josh Kennedy kicked four goals last week against Melbourne to secure West Coast’s spot in the big dance and told 6PR Breakfast he doesn’t dwell on their loss three years ago.

“To be honest, it’s totally forgotten about. We learn from the experience, it was a fantastic experience in terms of getting to the Grand Final, obviously it wasn’t our day when we all had a shocker. So you learn a fair bit from it and you dwell on it for a little bit, but it’s been three years now,” Kennedy told Steve and Baz.
“I’ve got two kids, I’ve got two girls who’ve kept me occupied for those last three years so you move on and worry about other things.”
