It could be a lot simpler for the Government to kick people out

The Federal Government is ramping up the pressure to support tougher migration laws by making it easier to deport foreign criminals. Any non-citizen who is sent behind bars for a sentence with a maximum of two years or more could be deported.

Immigration Minister David Coleman joined Oliver Peterson today and shed light on these proposed laws explaining how violent, sexual or fire-arms related offences could result in deportation.
