The Reserve Bank has kept its cash interest rate unchanged at its last board meeting of the year.

The rate remains at a record-low of 0.75 per cent.

In its statement, the RBA says previous rate cuts are starting to stimulate wages and the jobs market.

The board will meet again in February.
