Greens push for voting age to drop to 16
WA Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John is pushing for the voting age to be lowered from 18 years of age to 16.
The Greens will introduce a bill to the lower house to lower the age for federal elections.
Steele-John told Mornings with Gareth Parker, their policy would allow 16 and 17 year olds to vote, if they want to.
