Government Western Rock Lobster policy causes controversy
The State Government’s proposed changes to the Western Rock Lobster Industry are proving controversial, with allegations of socialist-style interference directed at Fisheries Minister Dave Kelly, who on December 8th 2018 announced the State would increase the amount of crayfish available with the caveat that 17.3% is seized by the State. The move has infuriated crayfishermen.
