The State Government is considering introducing firearm prohibition orders, to ban certain people from holding a gun licence or living in a house where guns are stored.

Police minister Michelle Roberts told Mornings with Gareth Parker, it would allow the Police Commissioner to recommend someone with a criminal background is prevented from legally owning a gun.
