A local developer has hit-out at the South Perth Council for moving to reject a 42-storey high-rise in the area, despite the 39-storey building already being approved.

Sirona Capital managing director Matthew McNeilly told Mornings with Gareth Parker, council is responding to a vocal minority, rather than the wider community.
