Former WA Government media advisor not guilty of indecent assault

WA Treasurer Ben Wyatt’s former media adviser has been acquitted of indecent assault.

Stephen Kaless was accused of putting his hand up the dress of a female colleague at a staff Christmas party last year at a Perth hotel bar.

He was this afternoon found not guilty of the incident following a trial.

Mr Kaless has since resigned.

WAtoday deputy editor Kate Hedley spoke with Oliver Peterson once the judgement was handed down.
