A football coach has been inducted in the WA Women’s Hall of Fame; Sharon Wood-Kenney has been working with different communities to create opportunities for disadvantaged people as well as working with the WA Football Commission and her local footy club.

Ms Wood Kenney’s dedication and assistance has earned her an induction in the WA Women’s Hall of Fame on International Women’s Day, but she told 6PR Breakfast:
“Women’s Day was about equal rights for women, but it’s about equality for everybody; people are people.”
