Eagles steal win from Saints

The West Coast Eagles have pulled off a last (ten) minute 19-point win over St Kilda at Domain Stadium on Saturday night after the Saints were in charge for most of the game.
Josh Kennedy had a goalless first half, but became lively in the second to top the list of goal kickers with four goals to finish the game18.8 (116) to 13.19 (97).
In a late injury report, Jack Steven was taken to hospital as a precaution with chest problem, but is expected to fly home with team on Saturday night.
Kennedy’s third goal levelled the scores with ten minutes remaining, but it was Josh Hill’s second goal that pushed the home side in front for only the second time of the game with seven minutes to go.

The Saints were in charge for three quarters of the game answering back every time the home side started to spring into action.

Andrew Gaff finished the game with 36 disposals, while Luke Shuey was handy around the ground with his 30 touches.
While the Saints Sebastian Ross (29 disposals) and Dylan Robertson (26)Â kept their team in the game.
The Eagles were flying high off the back of their opening round demolition of North Melbourne, while the Saints are looking to bounce back after going down to Melbourne last week.
Jonathan Giles headlined three changes for the homeside, the big man replaces recruit Drew Petrie who fractured his hand against his old side.
Dom Sheed and Tom Barrass are the other two inclusions, with Erick Mckenzie and Lewis Jetta out injured.
The Saints made three changes of their own, in come Leigh Montagna, Blake Acres and Paddy McCartin replace Nick Reiwoldt, David Armitage and Nathan Wright.
