Eagles claw Hawks & Dockers sink to Carlton

Two very close matches of AFL football over the weekend for both WA teams, saw the Eagles win on the road & Dockers lose at home. West Coast coach Adam Simpson on their win over Hawthorn & Freo’s loss over Carlton, “It was a real sliding doors moment for WA football last week. We could’ve easily dropped ours & Fremantle could’ve easily won theirs.”

It was the first time since 2010 that West Coast had beaten the Hawks at the MCG & with the boys beating some of the best on the road, Simpson believes they are no longer the flat-track bullies of past days, “It used to be flat-track bullies but now when we go to Melbourne, it’s a good vibe & we feel good travelling there.”

With the Western Derby this weekend, what mindset will both teams be in & what else does Simmo think of his teams performance from the past weekend & what tactics will be use against Freo this weekend?
