Do you try to ‘buy Australian’?

New research suggests our desire to ‘buy Australian’ is not wavering.

Consumer research from Roy Morgan found that 80% of us prefer Aussie-made food and beverages, 77% of us want Aussie-made agricultural and gardening products, 73% of us want children and baby care products, while 72% prefer animals, pet and pet care and 65% in building and renovation materials.

Australian Made Campaign chief executive Ben Lazzaro told Gareth Parker the research shows an increasing demand for authentic Aussie brands.
